Editorial team

scanodds is a small, data-driven newsroom. Most of what you read is generated from our own database and checked by people before it is published.

Who is responsible

Publisher
KNOW NOTA Inc. holds editorial responsibility for everything published on scanodds.
Editor of record
Tomas Holinsky is the byline on our articles and signs off the process below.
Language reviewers
Native speakers check AI-assisted texts in Czech, Slovak, Polish and English before publication. They work behind the scenes and are not named.

How content is made

  1. Data

Licensed feeds deliver fixtures, results, line-ups, statistics and prices. Our code matches teams and events across sources and checks the data for gaps.

  2. Fact packet

For each text, code collects the relevant facts and figures from our database. Calculations, such as averages and net-of-tax prices, are done by code, not by the model.

  3. Draft

An AI model writes the draft in the target language directly from the packet, never by translating another edition.

  4. Checks

Automated checks test format, claims, names, banned phrases and responsible-gambling language, and a second model verifies the draft.

  5. Review

A native-speaker reviewer approves the article. Live commentary and odds notes are automated and labelled as such.

  6. Publication

The article is published with the byline, the date and, where AI helped, a disclosure line.
