How returns are calculated

return = stake in play × odds

For an accumulator the odds of all selections are multiplied together, and every selection must win. Profit is the return minus the stake you paid.

Poland: stake tax and winnings tax

12% of every stake is tax, so only the rest is in play. A win above PLN 2,280 is taxed at 10% of the whole amount, not only the part above the threshold.

Example: a stake of PLN 1,000 at odds of 3.00. The stake tax is PLN 120, so PLN 880 is in play and the gross return is PLN 2,640. That is above the threshold, so the winnings tax is PLN 264 and you receive PLN 2,376.

Croatia: fee and progressive winnings tax

Operators deduct a 5% fee from every stake. Winnings are taxed in bands, each rate applying to the part of the win inside its band (table below).

Players pay no tax on stakes or winnings: bookmakers pay tax on their gross gaming revenue instead.

The figures are an estimate. Your bookmaker's ticket and its rounding are what count.
